From competition to collaboration, teams realize that only a shared, concerted effort will allow the project task to be completed on time.
The objective is to earn as many points as possible and materials for your teams pantry shelf in the time allotted. Each team participating in The Food Pantry Challenge will be moving around a giant game board attempting to earn points in the process. The game board is made up of “trivia” spots and “team challenge” spots. Teams that land on a trivia spot send a team member into the middle to acquire a trivia question that the group attempts to answer. The “trivia master” determines whether the answer has been answered correctly. Correct answers earn points. Teams that land on a “team challenge spot” must leave the game board, find the designated “team challenge facilitator” and attempt to complete a team challenge. Succeed in the “team challenge” and you will earn the team materials and items for your care package. Teams may also earn points by demonstrating energy, spirit, and enthusiasm.
